The residential building Helsingin Tervapääskynen designed by architects Helamaa&Pulkkinen Oy has been awarded the Kestävä Kivitalo 2012 prize for durable stone construction. The building also features Graphic Concrete used in the building’s retaining wall. The cows depicted on the retaining wall hark back to the veterinary college and its stables which used to stand on the site.
